¿Qué tienen que ver The Jesus and Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine, Ride, Oasis, Slowdive, Primal Scream y Teenage Fanclub? Que todos estaban en Creation Records. Y de los grupos de Creation Records, yo soy My Bloody Valentine, al menos según el test que he rellenado y que te dice qué grupo del sello eres. Y esta es mi personalidad según el test:

Yo soy Slowdive, y aunque no sea el grupo que más me gusta del sello, ya que mis preferidos siempre serán Felt, sí que me gustan mucho. Iko, si eres fan de MBV deberías investigar sobre ellos. El disco que aparece en el test, “Souvlaki”, es una delicia. Ride también me gustan pero un poco menos. Y no entiendo por qué limitan tanto la discografía del sello, con la de buenos grupos que han tenido.

lo que pasa es que me han tocado unos reviejos que no sé quiénes son: Slowdive.
eso sí, el test es efectivo porque me los voy a bajar ya (aunque creo que los de la discográfica no pretendían exactamente eso).
por lo visto estoy encantado de haberme conocido, soy un poco mediocre y bastante perseverante (o plasta) precisamente por creerme la ostia. qué majos, éstos.

Holden, de Felt hace tiempo que me bajé un disco, creo que se llamaba “Absolute Classic Masterpieces” y me lo puse bastante. Por cierto, uno de los componente de Felt es el que hace 3 años o 4 montó Go Kart Mozart, ¿no? Me compré el disco y todo. Y me voy a bajar también a Souvlaki que tienen muy buena pinta.
Lo que no entiendo del catálogo de este sello, que desapareció en el 2000 o así, es qué pintan Oasis, porque el resto son grupos de nivel.

Exacto, Iko, fue el líder de Felt, Lawrence Hayward, quien montó Go Kart Mozart y previamente Denim. Y el disco te bajaste se llama efectivamente así, es uno de los “greatest hits” que se han publicado de este grupo, que a mi parecer está un poco olvidado. Seguro que “Souvlaki” de Slowdive te gusta. Por cierto, no sé si sabrás que varios de los componentes de Slowdive formaron más tarde Mojave 3, otro grupo que me encanta. Y Creation tiene uno de los catálogos más memorables de finales de los 80 y principios de los 90, exceptuando por supuesto a Oasis.

Ride tuvieron bastante éxito en su momento. Yo tengo el álbum “Carnival Of Light”, que tienen algunas canciones que están bastante bien. Para quien no haya escuchado nada recomiento “Magical Spring”.
