Yo quiero ir a un mesón

Cuando voy a los museos llega un punto en el que me saturo, hacia los tres cuartos de hora, y ya miro pero no veo nada. Ayer me fui con Supervago a ver una exposición de Die Brücke, el movimiento expresionista aleman de principios de siglo liderado por Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Erich Heckel, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff y Fritz Bley. El gran problema a lo largo del recorrido fue el hambre, porque sólo a nosotros se nos ocurre visitar una exposición con el estómago vacío. Durante el recorrido por la exposición expresionista no hubo ningún problema, pero cuando fuimos a ver la exposición permanente del Thyssen, ahí las cosas ya cambiaron. Quizás sea porque ya he visitado ese museo tres veces, pero estaba más pendiente de mi estómago que de otra cosa. Al final, terminamos comiendo a las 6 de la tarde.

Lo que más pena me dio de la visita fue comprobar cómo se me olvidan las cosas. Una vez terminado COU y en los dos primeros años de carrera recuerdo que dominaba bastante bien el arte contemporáneo y más o menos conocía a los autores más importantes de cada movimiento, pero han pasado los años y ahora ya las fechas y los nombres me bailan. Algo queda, y supongo que si me pongo a leer sobre el tema otra vez lo recordaría, pero ya no me veo con la agilidad con la que hacía los comentarios de obras abstractas, ayudado por un Martini Rojo con cola (bebida que hemos recuperado este fin de semana), en la Universidad.

    Los museos son agotadores, cuánta razón tenían las Vainica en esa canción tan bonita que escribió la hija de Gloria. “Desesperada no aguanto más las ganas de fumar…” De todos modos, el concepto “museo” está bastante cuestionado hoy en día, no? Hay otras formas de disfrutar el arte más modernas…
    Aun asi, hay museos muy disfrutables, como el museo de Navarra. Un lugar muy relajante y agradable al que me gustaba ir de vez en cuando…

    Placidayeye, ¿el museo de Navarra? Jajajajaja. Tranquilizante sí que es, porque nunca hay nadie. Es que creo que eres la primera persona que dice que ha ido. Yo he estado unas cuántas veces, por eso de que soy de Pamplona, y nunca había pensado que no agobia mucho. Será porque no hay casi nada y lo único destacable son los mosaicos romanos, algún capitel románico, y el arca árabe hecha de marfil que es la pieza más valiosa de todo el museo.

    Jo, a mi me encantaba la sección “prehistoria”, con esas joyas y objetos de piedra tan bonitos que parecen totalmente actuales, y los mosaicos romanos…
    Me parecía un lugar muy agradable, y, al ser pequeño, pues no terminas hecha polvo como en el Guggenheim o en el Ikea (la misma sensación de agotamiento se me queda en un sitio y en el otro, oye)
